Table d’Amis is a snug, cosy restaurant on the edge of Kortrijk. It opened its door in 2009 in the former inn Sint-Huybrechts dating from 1892 and belonging to the brewery of the same name. The interior attempts to evoke the pub atmosphere of bygone days by means of hanging lamps and benches. The modernization doesn't in any way detract from the charm of olden times.

This year the restaurant has been declared Discovery of the year by Gault & Millau and the restaurant guide of Weekend Knack has rewarded its chef Matthieu Beudaert with the Golden Whisk of most promising cook.

The dining area, which is taken care of by the hostess and sommelier Sofie Delbeke, is decorated soberly but comfortably. The wine list has been compiled carefully with wines from the classic and the new world and a few regional discoveries.

In the kitchen there is a constant pursuit of pure and deep tastes which reflect our traditional eating culture yet at the same time are produced in a modern way. Every day we try to combine taste, simplicity and health into a unique composition.
